21 Grand Needs Your Help!
You may have heard the news
already:
21 Grand is unexpectedly spending the holiday season working with
the City to remedy some code compliance issues with the performance space.
You may know us as the East Bay's premiere venue for innovative,
experimental, cross-cultural visual art and performance.
..,and the City is making sure we comply with the copious regulations and
requirements for running a cabaret.

As a result, we are not hosting any live shows at 21 Grand until we have permission from the "proper authorities." However, we're here to stay and the show continues to go on, thanks to the support of our friends at the Fishtank, Pro Arts and 1510 Performance Space. Important reminder: The gallery, art studios and renowned Smythe's Accordion Center remain open for your cultural pleasure and are available for rental for readings, rehearsals, recording sessions and meetings in a unique contemporary art setting. We hope to greet you warmly in January at the T-10 Festival.
